Bristol Nights is at the heart of supporting Bristol’s night-time economy that incorporates all businesses who operate between 6pm-6am, creating over 91,000 jobs, a third of the city’s workforce.

Carly Heath

Bristol Night Czar

Carly Heath is Bristol's first Night-Time Economy championing Bristol's clubs, pubs, restaurants and events venues and those who work in them. She is responsible for:

  • development of a vision and roadmap to support Bristol's cultural and hospitality venues,

  • increasing dialogue and collaboration 

  • identifying and capitalising on the cultural, social and economic benefits that the night-time industries can offer the city.

Since Carly started in the role in April 2021, she has been leading the recovery of the city's entertainment and hospitality sectors, working closely with the mayor's office and city partners also chairing the Bristol @ Night independent advisory panel.
